Registration for crossings
Look forward to a relaxing crossing on the car ferry MS "Pellworm I". The ferry journey takes approx. 40 minutes and there is a small catering facility on board.
Timely registration is required for the ferry crossing with a car.
Tickets for motor vehicles of all types are non-transferable and are only valid for the registered vehicle.
Tickets can also be purchased on presentation of the vehicle licence during the opening hours of the terminals at the Nordstrand jetty or on Pellworm. Outside these times, tickets are available directly on board. Registered vehicles must be ready in the marked lanes 20 minutes before the ferry departs.
If you are travelling as a pedestrian, there is a car park in front of the dyke crossing, which is unguarded and subject to a charge.

For visitors travelling without a car, a reservation on the ferry is not necessary.
The NPDG provides a free shuttle bus to the centre of Tammensiel / harbour (Pellworm) for every ferry arrival. The passenger fare on the ferry includes the return bus transfer on the island of Pellworm (deep-water jetty - spa centre - harbour).
At Strucklahnungshörn harbour there is an unguarded, chargeable car park where cars can also be parked for longer periods.

For lorries, coaches and similar vehicles, a telephone booking is required for the crossing with the car ferry MS "PELLWORM I" to the North Sea island of Pellworm.

Tour groups of 20 persons or more for the bus transfer from the ferry terminal to Husum or from Husum to the ferry terminal must be registered with the NPDG shipping company on 04844 753.
General cargo is transported weekly from Husum to the North Sea island of Pellworm (excluding public holidays).
